Company pages on LinkedIn have great potential, therefore having a company page on LinkedIn is necessarily important. There are a lot many reasons for having a company page on LinkedIn, some of which are discussed as under:

Website versus LinkedIn page:

Companies think that having a website for promotions, offers, products, and services is enough but actually it is not. It is a common complain of many of the corporate that no one likes or reads their shared content, blogs & updates on their web pages. It is actually because websites are not followed by the people. If the company posts or shares the same thing on its LinkedIn Page, all the people following the page will instantly get the update and will more likely to read the shared content. So, this is the foremost reason for having a Corporate LinkedIn page.

Exposure to your services:

Your targeted market and people always look for detailed information about the companies that are related to them. Such detailed information can easily be conveyed in the most appropriate manner on LinkedIn. LinkedIn company page gives more exposure to who you are and what you do and this exposure makes the targeted market to reach you in an easy way.

Exposure to your products:

LinkedIn provides you an option for adding all of your products and services in your company page. Moreover you can easily add the promotional videos and inspiring material in your professional LinkedIn page. Thus your company can easily portray in an effective way about its products, services, and the offers.

Recommendations:

The best option that LinkedIn provides to evaluate a person or a company is its option of Recommendation. Your company’s satisfied and consistent customers will surely recommend your company, products, & your services on your professional LinkedIn page. This will surely boost up the reputation of your company and make you look better among other of the company’s competitors. More and strong recommendations will also increase your potential customers and your conversion rate.

Promotion of job openings:

Having a LinkedIn Company page is the best place where your company can promote and advertise Job Openings. Job and talent hunting through LinkedIn help make the best choice for the vacant position. Since LinkedIn provides status update option, so getting advantage of this option you can promote your Job Vacancy advertisement. Moreover you can start a group discussion to promote the vacancy. Apart from all this, you can also share Power Point presentation or a video that shows in more professional and creative way the details of the Job opening. This Feature of LinkedIn also saves a lot of company’s money that would otherwise be spent on advertisement cost.
