How To Use Organic SEO To Get Your Business On Page One Of Google

Unless you are new to the web, you already know something about organic SEO. If you don’t, organic SEO according to Wikipedia is a phrase used to refer to any process aimed at obtaining a natural placement on search engine results page (SERP). To break this down, organic SEO is the process of using white hat ranking techniques to get placement on Google’s first page without forcing Google’s hand. The debate on why Organic SEO aka white hat SEO is better than black hat SEO is something many website owners struggle with at one point or the other. One reason white hat SEO is better than black hat SEO is the simple fact that if you use the latter, you can bet Google will find out and punish you. Thus, organic SEO optimization is the best way to get to the top of SERP and stay there longer. Search engine optimization using white hat tricks and tips is hard work and demands a strategy. Well, fortunately, I have your back. Here are five tips and tricks you can use to go to the top of SERP the right way.

Get your house in order: make your on-page optimization the best

Unless your intention is to ruin your chance of ranking, there is no reason why you should not optimize your on-page content. On-page optimization could mean a lot of difference in SERP placement. What exactly is on-page optimization? On-page optimization is making sure that your content is top notch, keyword rich, and informative. Google loves giving people accurate answers for whatever questions they have. If your page has the correct information but lacking optimization, you lose out. On the other hand, if you perform your on-page optimization and your content is top notch, Google will send tons of traffic your way. Additionally, on-page optimization means you have a solid, SEO friendly URL, have authority outbound links, a descriptive page title, and heading one and two tags. You also have to optimize your page for speed browsing, social media sharing plugins, and Meta descriptions.

Type your keyword here […]: Identify and optimize your keywords

How much time you put into keyword research will directly reflect on your ranking. It is easy to make the mistake of basing your keyword research on search volumes. Using this tip makes it harder for you or your website to rank higher. Nowadays, Google pays more attention to multiple word keywords rather than single phrase keywords. Further, single phrase keywords are not ‘buyer’ friendly. Instead of placing your focus on these single-phrase keywords, concentrate on search criteria and keywords that search engine users would type on their browser when looking for information. For example, if you own a printing service firm in New York, you do not want to restrict your keywords to “printing services.” While this may seem like a good strategy, concentrating on that specific keyword may hinder your click through rate and sales. This is because the keyword will rank you globally rather than for a specific and relevant location. Therefore, in the above example, it makes sense to focus on the keyword “printing services in New York.”

Develop a content strategy

A content strategy is a strategy stating what and when you post new content to your website. Search engines are hungry for pages with consistent updates. The whole point of optimization is driving traffic to your website. When you create content on a consistent basis, you do exactly that. Further, with every new content you create, you get the opportunity to share on social media.

Cultivate high quality links

Linking your site is still a solid way to building some solid organic SEO. It is important to note that the wrong approach to inter linking can go wrong and end up causing you some ranking slots. This means you should not employ spammy SEO strategies. A great way to build high quality links is to contribute to other blogs with many visitors. Focus on creating solid backlinks rather than the total number of links. Do not believe any SEO ranking company that purports to rank you first on Google overnight. It does not happen.

Monitor your performance and continue optimization without using black hat tricks

Monitor your results and see how well you are doing. If you find that you are not doing so well, do not employ any black hat tricks since this will only hurt your ranking. Further, black hat tricks only give you temporary ranking. Google consistently changes their ranking algorithms. If your webpage ranks first because of black hat trick, Google will drop your website.

You need to monitor your keywords and observe any changes in search criteria in the related field. Monitoring gives you a chance to eliminate SEO tricks that don’t work and employ others that work better. Dig into Google keyword analytics to get better buyer friendly keywords you can use to rank better.

With the above tips, you can build up your organic SEO strategy. I have to point out that creating organic SEO is hard work. It takes patience and commitment.
